Job Description:
Fleet Maintenance and Repair Technician
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of equipment, including passenger trucks and heavy machinery.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to inspection procedures and checklists.
- Maintain detailed service records, daily work logs, work orders, and repair requests.
- Help maintain parts inventory.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.
- Replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, braking, and hydraulic systems.
- Run diagnostic tests and analyze results to determine functionality problems.
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
- Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to users.
- Design a plan of action for all assigned maintenance and repair tasks.

Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- CDL (class A or B) and current medical card are a plus.
- ASE Diesel Certification is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components is a plus.
- Good IT skills are advantageous.
