Job Summary
The Construction Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel to ensure project goals are met.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, including RFI's, change orders, and daily logs.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in construction management and safety protocols.
- Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Skills
- Strong understanding of roadway construction processes and management principles.
- Experience with documentation management in construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction management best practices, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, clients, and superintendent.
- Strong leadership abilities to motivate teams and ensure high-quality workmanship on-site.
- Attention to detail for maintaining quality control throughout the construction process.
