Field Sales Representative - Cross Border LogisticsLocation : Based in Laredo, TX, this role supports cross-border sales initiatives in the Laredo border region U.S. and Mexico and surrounding areas in both the U.S. and Mexico side, including Del Rio, Eagle Pass, Acuña, and Piedras Negras.This position requires travel into Mexico's interior to engage with Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics, Retail, and Manufacturing industries. Additionally, travel to key U.S. markets, such as Michigan, Tennessee, and other strategic regions, will be necessary to drive sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships across cross-border trade lanes.About the role : As a Field Sales Executive Cross-Border Logistics at Maersk, you'll be part of a high-performing team driving business expansion and revenue growth. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion : -Own and drive new business development within the U.S.-Mexico corridor.-Identify and secure new revenue opportunities, ensuring sustainable business growth.
Client Partnerships & Engagement : -Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing tailored logistics solutions.-Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients on cross-border logistics complexities.
Strategic Market Leadership & Industry Expertise : -Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy that maximizes profitability.-Stay ahead of market trends in ground freight, FTL, LTL, Inland, Intermodal, Middle Mile, Final Mile, and Cross-Border transportation.
Collaborative Success & Operational Coordination : -Work closely with local management, operations, and pricing teams to align services with customer needs.-Ensure seamless client onboarding and high levels of satisfaction to drive long-term retention.
Define & Implement Market-Competitive Pricing Models : -Work with the pricing team to establish competitive rate structures that support business development and profitability.-Ensure cost transparency and adaptability based on market fluctuations.
Implement & Maintain Sales Process Discipline : -Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce (SFDC).-Ensure data integrity for performance tracking and revenue forecasting.Performance ExpectationsPipeline Management : Short-Term Targets : Minimum of 10-15 deals closing within the next 90 days.Long-Term Targets : Minimum of 10-15 deals closing in 90 days.Revenue Benchmark : All targets must generate at least $60,000 in annual revenue.New Opportunities : Minimum of 2 new opportunities entered into SFDC (Salesforce) weekly.Wins & Conversions Minimum : 2 wins per month on average.At least 1 of the 2 monthly wins should be a new logo (new customer acquisition).Sales Activities (Minimum) : Face-to-Face Calls : Minimum of 3 preplanned F2F meetings per day, 15 per week.Office vs. Field Schedule : Monday office day, Tuesday - Friday in the field for customer meetings.Pricing Proposals : Submit a minimum of 2 domestic pricing proposals per month via RSO LTL Tariff Pricing Submission.Prospecting & Outreach : Prospecting : 10 outreach attempts per day (via phone or in person).What You Bring : 4 years of proven sales success in logistics, freight forwarding, specialized freight, or ground transportation.Results-driven mindset with a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving substantial revenue growth.Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions.CRM expertise (Salesforce preferred) to manage sales pipelines, track performance, and enhance forecasting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of crafting solutions for complex supply chain challenges.Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple client interactions and projects efficiently.High School Diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred).Fluent in English and Spanish.Willing and able to travel between the U.S. and Mexico as needed to meet business requirements.Compensation & Benefits :
Salary Range : $85,000 - $100,000 USD

The stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary and may be adjusted based on market conditions, experience, and location.
