What are the responsibilities and job description for the TMS Senior Service Architect position at A.P. Møller - Maersk A/S?
Architecture ensures consistent, coherent and integrated technology solutions are developed across the whole organisation while meeting the current and future business and technology objectives.
Technical stream includes roles which require the application of expertise within a narrow field of technology (e.g. platform architecture, cyber security, software programming) to achieve results. Results are mainly delivered through individual contirbution, not through managing others. Progression in these roles reflects an increasing depth of technical knowledge and skills.
A colleague at this level has in-depth knowledge and experience in a functional area. The colleague routinely applies subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues operating within practices and procedures covered by precedents or well-defined policies. A colleague at this level handles most situations independently, receives minimal guidance, but will seek advice, guidance and support on more complex or non-routine topcis.
The colleague understands the overall nature of the business and the interdependencies between own and other functions.
Leaders at this level are accountable for performance and results in teams of less experienced professionals, frontline workers and admins, and will adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- TMS Configuration & Integration :
Analyze and configure TMS systems to meet specific operational needs across container drayage, intermodal, FTL, and LTL transportation.
Design and implement EDI / API solutions to enable seamless data exchange between TMS systems and external stakeholders.
Utilize in-depth knowledge of TMS architecture, data structures, and configuration options to improve system performance and functionality.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members on TMS configurations and EDI / API integration.
Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve configuration challenges.
Identify potential risks to the TMS system and implement strategies to mitigate them.
