Job Summary
The Driver's Helper plays a crucial role in assisting the driver with day-to-day activities, including loading and unloading trucks, as well as other duties assigned by the driver.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading daily routes onto the truck accurately
- Assisting the driver with navigating to delivery locations
- Carrying freight into business or residential destinations
- Performing other duties as assigned by the driver
Requirements
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Ability to read maps and have general geographic knowledge of the area
- Ability to lift 75 lbs unassisted
- Excellent customer service skills
