Job Description
The Driver's Helper supports the driver with daily tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, as well as other duties assigned by the driver.
Essential Functions
- Loading daily routes onto the truck
- Scanning daily routes onto the truck
- Assisting the driver with navigating to delivery locations
- Carrying freight into business or residential destinations
- Performing other duties as assigned by the driver
Requirements
- Forklift experience is preferred
- Ability to read maps and have general geographic knowledge of the area
- Ability to lift 75 lbs unassisted
- Good customer service skills
