Role:
APV is looking for a well-rounded entry level AI Cloud Engineer to develop sophisticated AI systems and applications. Guidance will be provided by Sr. developers and engineers to perform the required task. Key responsibilities include machine learning and deep learning concepts as well as common AI frameworks and libraries.
Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain Artificial Intelligence enabled management systems
- Understand business requirements and identify possible AI applications to solve business problems
- Collaborate with AI engineers to design and implement optimal data architectures for AI models
- Use machine learning and AI techniques to build models that solve business problems
- Perform testing and debugging of AI applications
- Monitor and adjust AI systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
- Stay updated with the latest research in AI and implement new techniques as appropriate
- Document AI development processes and maintain records for future reference
- Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain knowledge of ethical, legal, and societal implications
- Must make sure that the changes to improve the system don’t accidentally make the system more vulnerable to attack.
- Will update sections of software, as well as simultaneously managing changes to other parts of the program.
- Will assist team members as needed with DevOps pipelines and write infrastructure as code.
- Must know how to use scripting programs such as PHP, Pearl and Python.
- Should possess interpersonal, management and decision-making skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering or technical field
- Master’s degree and no experience will be considered
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience through internship, academic projects or work experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP) and writing infrastructure as code (IaS)
- Building DevOps pipelines
- Experience with LLMs and Generative AI models implementation
- Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Demonstrated knowledge in programming languages like Python, and Java
- US Citizen or must be present in the USA legally from last 3 years and authorized to work full time.
