Role:


APV is seeking a highly skilled Knowledge Solutions Architect to align public health knowledge systems with the NIH Genetics and Rare Diseases (GARD) Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) objectives.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, government staff, and contractors to optimize information workflows, improve data ontology structures, and enhance the efficiency and usability of public health knowledge systems within Salesforce Lightning or Drupal and CMS platforms.


Duties:

  • Align public health knowledge systems with NIH GARD CMS and CRM goals, analyzing information needs and providing scalable solutions for enhanced efficiency and usability.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including government staff and contractors, to design and manage workflows that convert complex scientific disease information into plain text for integration into the Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Design and implement account linkage strategies to establish relationships between related accounts in Salesforce Lightning or Drupal.
  • Collaborate with client Subject Matter Experts to develop a strategic roadmap of Epics, aligning content management and CRM initiatives with NIH Genetics and Rare Diseases objectives.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data ontologies to structure and standardize information, integrating both automated and manual data inputs for comprehensive data management. Ensure data integrity and governance by enforcing tagging standards and account hierarchy best practices
  • Work closely with government stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce or Drupal solutions.
  • Continuously refine and optimize knowledge systems for accuracy, scalability, and performance.
  • Develop standards for knowledge representation and management, establishing and maintaining efficient processes for categorizing, storing, and retrieving information as well as optimizing information taxonomy and metadata tagging systems for accessibility.
  • Ensure data integrity and governance by enforcing tagging standards and account hierarchy best practices.
  • Provide documentation and training to users on best practices for account linkage and tagging.
  • Work in an Agile Scrum framework, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure continuous delivery of solutions.

Education :

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or Health Informatics
  • 5 years of relevant experience.



Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of CRM best practices and experience implementing tagging strategies for data categorization.
  • Expertise in Salesforce Lightning or Drupal, including data modeling and relationship management
  • Expertise in data ontology design, taxonomy development, and structured knowledge management.
  • Strong understanding of metadata tagging, information architecture, and data governance best practices
  • Experienced in translating client’s needs into clearly written technical requirements and business rules.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment, actively participating in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Mondo Disease Ontology (MONDO), Orphanet and Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM)
  • Knowledge of public health information systems, particularly NIH Genetics and Rare Diseases knowledge management.
  • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry and Angular Scully
  • Understanding of Healthcare Informatics
