Role:
As a Salesforce Consultant (Business Analyst)-Quality Assurance Analyst , you will work with our federal government customers to define and manage requirements for a new Salesforce project. The position will focus on documenting business processes and software requirements and performing testing on functionality developed by the team.
Duties:
The Salesforce Consultant Business Analyst responsibilities will include:
Elicit and document requirements from government stakeholders.
- Develop process flows based on business needs and identify areas for process improvement.
- Write comprehensive Agile user stories to guide development.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Developers, and team members to ensure clarity in requirements.
- Maintain a strong understanding of business processes and translate them into functional requirements.
- Assist testers in verifying that completed work meets established requirements.
- Highlight new development activities by leading product demonstrations to customers and team.
- Document overall project processes and adhere to security best practices.
- Understand relational databases and data structures.
- Perform dual role as business analyst and quality testing. Other duties as assigned .
The Quality Assurance Analyst responsibilities will include:
- Assist the project team with peer review of deliverables to the customer. Compare deliverable to official template (if available) for compliance.
- Assess all development and documentation deliverables regarding Section 508 compliance. Edit/modify documents as needed to maintain Section 508 compliance.
- Define the manual test strategy and provide feedback for improvements.
- Work with developers to identify, record, track, and resolve product defects/bugs.
- Design, develop and maintain test plans and test cases.
- Create documentation for QA processes and provide feedback for improvements. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience in related field
Certification:
Salesforce Certified Business Analyst is preferred
Required Skills:
- 3 years of Business Analyst experience creating/writing system requirements
- 2 years of Salesforce Platform experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
- Experience with Salesforce configurations
- Experience in testing applications for functional and user acceptance
- Experience with a change management application such as JIRA Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a government issued PIV card

- Experience with claims management processes
- Experience with an Application Development Team in an Agile environment Experience with automation testing and automation test tools
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Strong knowledge of QA strategies and methodologies (smoke testing, regression testing, functional and non-functional testing).
