We are looking for a dedicated Evening Custodian to join our team immediately! This position offers competitive pay and requires the ability to perform janitorial duties with a high level of reliability and attention to detail. Shift Hours:
- 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM (Evening Shift)
Responsibilities:
- Perform janitorial duties including cleaning and sanitizing:
- Floors, restrooms, hallways, classrooms, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting as needed
- Emptying trash bins and moving trash to appropriate disposal areas
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Commuting around campus to different areas as needed to perform cleaning duties
- Additional janitorial tasks as required
Requirements:
- Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in janitorial work (will consider candidates with 1 year of experience)
- Ability to lift and move trash and perform other physical tasks
- Transportation is a must – reliable transportation required for commuting to and from work
- Ability to commute around campus as needed to complete janitorial duties
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Must be able to work evening hours consistently
Compensation:
- $12.00 - $13.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
- Pay increase after 90-day probation period
