Message from Family: We are a dynamic and bustling family with four lively children and a household full of beloved pets. Both Mom and Dad have relatively flexible schedules, allowing them to be actively involved in family life. Mom, in particular, enjoys spending quality time at home, creating a warm and welcoming environment. We have a dedicated housekeeper who comes in once a week to keep everything in top shape.
About the Children: We have four wonderful children: our oldest is 10 years old, followed by our 8-year-old, a lively 1-year-old, and our newest addition, just 6 weeks old.
Our two older children are with us about 60% of the time. They both attend school and have dedicated nannies who assist with their care, so our primary focus in this search is finding someone to help care for our younger two.
The main responsibility will be our 6-week-old, as our older children are in school, and our 1-year-old attends preschool.
Their Ideal Family Assistant: We're seeking someone with a strong understanding of infant care—knowledge in this area would be invaluable. Our family deeply values open communication, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and eager to work as part of a team! It's also important to us that our child is exposed to Spanish, so we're hoping to find someone who is bilingual or a native Spanish speaker. While we don't expect our family assistant or nannies to be full-time housekeepers, a bit of help with light tidying as we go would be greatly appreciated. Previous experience as a family assistant or household manager is a requirement.
Additional Job Details: We have a lively household with a few pets, including cats, a dog, and a couple of reptiles, so it's important that our family assistant is comfortable around animals. Driving is a key requirement for this position, as our one-year-old attends preschool with drop-off at 8:00 am and pick-up at 3:00 pm. The older kids are in school from 8:00 am to 3:40 pm, and the family assistant would be responsible for handling school drop-offs in the morning.
Travel: We'd love to find someone who is both able and eager to travel! Our family enjoys vacations, and we've taken our family assistant along in the past. We also love the option of international travel and would like to bring the baby with us whenever possible. Ideally, we're looking for someone who is passport-ready and available to join us on a few trips each year.
