Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
- Utilize Dentrix for scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and creating documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to create a welcoming environment.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Provide support as a personal assistant to management when needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff, ensuring all inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to assist with diverse clientele.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred; experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
- Proficient in using computerized systems and software applications, particularly Google Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately for data entry purposes.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable but not mandatory.
