Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patients' well-being.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Personal Care Assistant is preferred.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and families.
