We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our team at A Pineywoods Home Health. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient well-being.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Assist with mobility and transportation for appointments or activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
