Responsibilities:
- Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support.
- Daily Assistance: Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
- Outings and Appointments: Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
- Safety and Comfort: Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements:
- Compassionate Nature: Demonstrate empathy and care in all interactions.
- Facilities experience (1 year min)
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to work independently and adapt to changing needs.
- Background: Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
- Reliability: Must be trustworthy, patient, and dependable.
- Education/Skills: Basic nutrition knowledge for meal planning is beneficial.
- Credentials: First Aid certification and TB test (optional), with in-services.
- Background Check: Required.
- Physical Ability: Capable of performing caregiving duties.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required.
