We understand that our clients have the desire to stay in the comfort of their home. And it is our mission to keep them happy and at their own home as long as possible.
Position Overview: Caregivers are a licensed or non-licensed member of the home care team. The caregiver is responsible for the basic daily care of the client. Caregivers will help maintain care records for the client and communicate with other members of the care team. We are a home healthcare company so you would drive to our clients homes to care for them. We try to keep our Caregivers within a 20-mile radius of their home. We offer health insurance, flexible schedules, PTO, and training on site as well as online (which you can earn college credit for!). Our office is currently in Englewood, and, we have clients all over Colorado. We strive to keep our clients happy and that starts with our caregivers. Caregivers report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibility of a Caregiver:
Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental conditions, intake/output, and reports any changes to their direct supervisor. Provides personal services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
Teaches clients how to use cane or walker, special utensils to eat, techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
Assist in planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements as outlined in the client’s care plan.
If necessary, the Caregiver will help with client feedings.
Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Explains the necessary procedure to the client prior to performing it.
Light housekeeping duties as needed.
Maintains continuity of client care by documenting and communicating with other caregivers in the client’s care plan (book) and in the system.
Participate in in-services and training as required.
Observe conditions of the client’s residence. Report on any changes to the following:
Client’s physical behavior
Client’s mental behavior
Potentially unsafe environment changes to the supervisor
