Position Overview:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a licensed member of the home care team. The CNA is responsible for the basic daily care of the client. CNAs will help maintain care records for the client and communicate with other members of the care team. Caregivers are a valuable part of our team, too. They deliver some of the same number of duties as a CNA, but also provide general companionship.
We're currently on the lookout for experienced caregivers/CNAs to fullfill full-time and part-time positions. Our Care Team are punctual, communicate well, and are filled with joy. Our "secret sauce?". It's our team. Be the difference with us!

Essential Functions:
To enable clients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording the client’s physical and mental condition.
To maintain a safe, secure and healthy client environment by following necessary standards and procedures.
To provide client support and personal services.
To protect the home health care company by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
To follow HIPAA guidelines regarding all client PHI.
Responsibilities of a CNA/ Caregiver:
Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental conditions, intake/output, and reports any changes to the Administrator and or Field Supervisor.
Provides personal services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
Teaches clients how to use cane or walker, special utensils to eat, techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
Assist in planning and preparing meals and snacks according to specific dietary requirements as outlined in the client’s care plan.
If necessary, the CNA or Caregiver will help with client feedings.
Observe conditions of the client’s residence. Report on any changes to the following:
Client’s physical behavior
Client’s mental behavior
Potentially unsafe environment changes to the Field Supervisor.
Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
Explains the necessary procedure to the client prior to performing it.
Light housekeeping duties as needed.
Maintains continuity of client care by documenting and communicating with other caregivers in the client’s care plan (book) and in the system.
Participate in in-services and training as required.
Education/Skills Requirements:
Current CNA certification preferred, but not limited-to.
Must pass a clear background check and drug screening
Physically able to perform duties of the position.
General nutrition knowledge necessary for meal planning.
Good oral and written communication skills.
VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION REQUIRED.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Bending, stooping, walking and general physical demands of light housekeeping.
Standing for prolonged periods or time.
Able to lift and/or transfer 100 lbs.
