Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction and community involvement.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, promoting hygiene and comfort.
- Support clients in engaging in recreational activities that enhance their physical and mental health.
- Document client progress and any changes in behavior or condition, communicating effectively with the care team.
- Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of clients at all times.
- Collaborate with family members, healthcare professionals, and social workers to coordinate care effectively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, nursing home settings, or memory care is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in home community care settings is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary needs.
- A background in social work or related fields can be beneficial but is not required.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and committed to providing high-quality care.
