Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant daycare center team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging learning experiences and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3-5 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement age-appropriate learning activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Classroom Management: Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Observation and Assessment: Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Communication: Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, adhering to all daycare center policies and procedures.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or lead certification through Wisconsin Registry.
- Experience: Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification are required or within 3 months of starting position.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
