**Job Responsibilities:**
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service.
- Manage and mentor a team of service advisors and technicians, providing training and guidance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service department performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
- Schedule and coordinate service appointments, ensuring timely completion of repairs and maintenance.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of service orders, repair history, and customer interactions.
- Monitor inventory and order parts to ensure the department is stocked.
- Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to streamline workflow.
- Prepare reports on department performance, including sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in a service management or leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a team and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage budgets and meet financial goals.
- ASE certification or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
