Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with behavioral health challenges, utilizing your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients through evidence-based practices while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide training and support to families and caregivers on behavior management strategies.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and techniques.
- Experience working with children in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining confidentiality of patient records.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent patient assessment skills to identify needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
