Job Summary
Columbus - based small CPA firm is looking for an Auditor with 1 yr of experience.

- We are seeking a detail-oriented CPA to join our team
- The role will be doing some audit work and also working with clients (small businesses, not for profits) to make adjustments to reconcile audit findings.
- 1 years in accounting and / or audit roles
- Solid skills with Quickbooks, Excel, etc.
- Position is based here in Columbus, and person needs to live in the Columbus area.
In this role, you do all the usual auditor stuff such as work with small business execs, examine financial records, make sure tax payments are made accurately and on time, lensure compliance with whatever regulations are appropriate for that business, etc. Beyond that, you work with clients to help them improve their operations from a financial reporting / accounting perspective.
WHAT IT TAKES:
- A foundation of a year or more of professional accounting background and basic audit experience clicks the first box.
- You'll be in a client-facing role a lot of the time, so strong interpersonal and relationship skills are key to success.
- A curious nature and the ability to look at financials and sense something might not be right and then dig in.
- Experience with common tools like Quickbooks and Excel.
- Finally, a desire to continue to grow professionally, and work towards your CPA.
*CPA is a plus, but will consider for the right person someone working towards their CPA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
