Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and best practice guidelines.
- Perform wound care procedures, including dressing changes, debridement, and management of various types of wounds.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for therapeutic effects and side effects.
- Stay current with advancements in wound care practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to wound care.
- Experience or knowledge in infection control practices is essential.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a specialization in wound care.
- Experience in wound care management.
- Strong understanding of wound healing processes and latest treatment modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
