Hiring Personal Care Assistant (30 hours /week) ASL Speaker needed
- Provides in-home companionship, medication reminders, and housekeeping services.
- Assists with feeding, dressing and bathing.
- Assists clients to live in clean, safe environment, light housekeeping
- Assist with Personal errands, per client and Agency request.
- Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the Care Plan/Nursing Supervisor.
- Knows and follows infection control protocols including proper hand washing techniques.
- Maintains appropriate communication with the Nursing Supervisor (written and verbal) and with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
- Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality.
- Accepts and fulfills assignments
- Participate in Agency Training as needed
Qualifications:
- Be eighteen (18) years of age.
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
- Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
- Have experience in cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Able to pass a criminal background check and no history of abuse/neglect
Pay Rate is $15.50-$16.00
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
