A Lawn and Landscape is seeking an Irrigation Technician responsible for the efficient operation and repair of clients’ irrigation systems from spring startups, throughout the growing season and winter shutdowns. Skills & Requirements:
Experience in irrigation installation
Ability to analyze irrigation systems
Ability to identify flaws and initiate corrective measures
Working knowledge of antiquated and modern irrigation systems
Ability to follow specific oral and written instructions
Ability to use a variety of standard power and hand tools
Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods often under adverse climatic conditions
Ability to operate and maintain grounds power equipment and tools
Must be able to work independently and also as a team member
Must possess initiative and self-motivational skills to complete assignments
Must be able to work well with co-workers, supervisors, and staff
Possess the ability to make decisions independently on routine assignments if needed
Valid Driver's License
Heavy repeated lifting (50 lbs or greater) is required (Repeated stooping, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and walking necessary).
