What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at A Plus Nail Spa?
Responsibilities:
Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed to keep floors in excellent condition.
Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, stocked with supplies, and well-maintained at all times.
Handle industrial cleaning tasks as required to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Assist with facilities maintenance tasks which may include minor repairs or painting in residential areas.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.
Requirements:
Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment is beneficial.
