Duties
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process customer purchases efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Upsell products and promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
- Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and assist with restocking as needed.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Demonstrate phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems and cash registers in a retail environment.
- Strong retail sales skills with an ability to upsell effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
