Our Clinical Dietician reports to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and provides the highest quality nutritional care possible to patients by:
- Assessing and developing care plans based on standards/current information on optimal nutritional care;
- Participating in Medicare and discharge planning meetings;
- Teaching individuals and groups, including the assessment of understanding of material presented;
- Maintaining and promoting communication with physicians and other health care professionals, the department head and all dietary personnel;
- Maintaining current files on consumer and professional information;
- Maintaining own continuing education;
- Documenting all care and education provided and communicating between other staff pertinent to patient care.
