We’re looking for a dynamic Loss Control Services Supervisor to join our team and play a vital role in managing our Workers’ Compensation program and ensuring seamless risk management operations within the staffing industry.
Compensation: $50k-$60k
Schedule: Hybrid, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
How You’ll Do It
The primary focus of the Loss Control Supervisor is to supervisor the day-to-day activities of the Loss Control Coordinators. You will also work to ensure a timely processing of Workers’ Compensation claims, certificates of insurance requests, assisting field offices in proper assignment of Workers’ Compensation codes, and accruals for the payroll system.
- Process and manage Workers’ Compensation claims from beginning to end including severe claims.
- Collaborate with the Director of Loss Control Services in all projects as required.
- Maintain all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Maintain updated information in the operational software systems as required.
- Provide consistent communication to branch offices field staff, TPA and/or adjusters regarding all open claims, office/leadership changes.
- Provide Workers’ Comp, Loss Control Training to field staff members.
- Customize Workers’ Comp Reports for profit centers as requested.
- Maintain and update logs and To-Dos in Workers’ Compensation system by due dates.
- Maintain and process all documentation with all Workers’ Compensation injury reports, including follow up of all medical appointments, modified duties accommodations and D/S results when required, etc.
- Manage reserves up to $50,000 with our Primary Carrier along with the adjuster.
- Develop and provide resolution options/ideas for closures of claims and reduction of reserves.
- Update profit centers of claim status while fielding/answering calls from profit centers.
- Provide support to other members of the Loss Control Team.
- Log and review all invoices, codes, or process to carrier/ TPA and/or AvidXchange.
- Keep apprised of any law changes relating to Workers’ Compensation including but not limited to OSHA Regulations.
- All other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
This is an experienced hire role, and you’ll need to bring 2-4 years of experience in Workers Compensation claims.
- High School Diploma, required
- Strong knowledge of state-specific guidelines, and insurance practices
- Experience working in risk management, insurance, or claims handling
- HIPPA and Medical Records knowledge is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities — you’ll be working across teams and with external partners daily
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/projects with high attention to detail
- Familiarity with payroll systems and Workers’ Compensation code assignments is highly preferred
- Possess strong computer skills and problem-solving skills
- Initiate on-going self-improvement in relation to job development

Requires good hand/eye coordination, arm/hand/finger dexterity including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read and write the application information. The staff associate is frequently required to sit, reach with hands, talk, and hear.
