We are currently seeking candidates for both full-time and part-time positions at our private women's clinic. - Comprehensive training will be provided and compensated.
- The work schedule will span from Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off in addition to Sunday. Employees are required to be present in the office from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- PCA is to assist the patient and talk them through the procedure. It is imperative that the patient understands what to do and can follow the physician’s instructions. Communicating these directions to the patient and making sure she understands them is essential.
- On-site training for all job tasks, including but not limited to infection control, patient counseling, labwork, medical history, procedures, dirty and clean utility room, and recovery room tasks. While prior training or experience in these areas is recommended, it is not required.
- Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized
- Peform and monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure etc.)
- Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies
- Provide appropriate emotional support
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of patient assistance and care procedures
- Working knowledge of relevant medical equipment
- Moderate knowledge of computer skills ( Google Docs, Excel, Data-entry)
- Committed to health and safety standards
- Empathetic and approachable
- Proven experience as patient care technician
- Able to work in a fast-pace environment
QUALIFICATIONS EXPECTATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Requirement: High School Diploma or greater
- Experience: Recommended one year of experience in a medical environment.
- Applicants with additional certifications (CNA, MA, LPN, etc.) should have copies of these certifications kept in their employee file. These items are not required, but are highly recommended.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
