About the Role:
A-Prime, based in the Boston area, has been in business since 1977. We are a nationwide
facilities maintenance company supporting mid to large size brands. We have a major focus on
servicing the retail industry nationwide.
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Director of Operations to drive operational
excellence and support our company's growth. This role requires an understanding of business
operations, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team
effectively. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Operations will be responsible for
maximizing sales and profitability, evaluating and optimizing current processes, managing
escalations, assisting in hiring as the team expands, and fostering strong relationships with
vendors, clients, and key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and enhance day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Drive sales growth and maximize profitability through strategic operational
improvements
• Monitor, evaluate and refine existing processes to enhance performance and
productivity
• Lead and manage escalations related to transaction-specific issues, ensuring prompt
resolution
• Assist in hiring and on boarding new team members as the company scales
• Develop and implement new programs and operational strategies to support business
objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve service
delivery
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and key stakeholders to
support business operations and growth
• Maintain a high standard of organization, discipline and motivation across teams
Qualifications:
• Minimum 6 years of experience in operations, managing people and processes with a
proven track record of success
• Strong background in developing and implementing new programs and processes
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
• Proven ability to lead and coach high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical skills with a curious and innovative approach to solving business
challenges
• Experience in the service industry is preferred.
