Duties

• Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging to ensure well-kept lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various landscaping projects.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, and mulching.
• Dig and prepare soil for planting new grass or garden beds.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and basic mechanical repairs as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects efficiently.
• Monitor the health of plants and lawns, identifying any issues that may require attention or treatment.

Skills

• Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
• Experience preferred with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment.
• Knowledge of lawn care best practices including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.65 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
