Responsibilities for this CSR role:
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email by assisting with inquiries and order status updates.
- Process customer orders with accuracy in SAP.
- Monitor and process customer sample requests.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Answer and redirect incoming calls to the appropriate departments.
- Scan sales orders and supporting documentation into SAP.
- Support outside sales staff, including business region managers and independent representatives.
- Collaborate with production and shipping teams to meet order fulfillment timelines.
- Maintain customer back-order lists and work closely with the inside sales team to ensure exceptional service.
- Actively participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements for this customer service role:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and function efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Service-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
