Job Summary
A & R Medical Supply is excited to offer the position of Retail Customer Service Representative (Retail CSR) to a highly motivated and outgoing individual looking to further their career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. A & R Medical Supply is a local organization that provides home medical equipment Statewide to patients through health insurance coverage and private funding alike.
Time Requirements: Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Reports to: Customer Service Manager & Customer Service Supervisor
Primary Job duties: The CSR plays a crucial role as the first-impression maker for all clients of the company. Duties include retail store coverage, greeting all walk-in and phone clients, educating customers about product knowledge, generate retail sales, transactions and cash handling. The CSR will also restock front-end and warehouse shelves, order replenishment product and keep the entire store presentable as well as organized.
· Generation of Revenue while providing good customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
· Ensure on time scheduled deliveries of product and/or service
· Ensure customer has been in-serviced on proper use of equipment or supplies
· Ensure that all of the necessary documentation is accurately obtained and processed.
· Data Entry
· Order Processing
· Resolve customer complaints
· Reconcile cash drawer at day’s end
· Implement merchandizing campaigns for retail storefronts while ensuring products are always available
· Clean and organize work areas and retail storefront
Qualifications
1. Must be a high school graduate or have GED.
2. Must have two years experience in customer services, preferable DME/Medical background
3. Must be customer service oriented.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. To suggest products and services that will meet customer goals while assisting in the merchandising campaigns for the Retail storefronts. Facing and maintaining the appearance of the Retail storefront included as well.
2. To train customer in the proper use of all equipment and supplies dispensed
3. Greet and document all customers: walk-in, incoming phone calls, incoming fax referrals
4. Interview customer to determine product and services needs
5. Accept customer to company services with complete intake
6. Provide product and/or service: including special orders, delivery services, return of products and refunds.
7. Ensure customer has been trained on the proper use of equipment or supplies
8. Accept and apply payments correctly to customer invoice
9. Train towards certification/expertise in all products and services provided by company
10. Provide a safe and pleasing environment for the customer: includes merchandising, stocking, fronting, implementing merchandising campaigns, product and company brochures availability.
11. Ensure customer satisfaction: includes resolving customer complaints, followup phone calls, cards.
12. To special order products for customer service/satisfaction, according to Product Sales Guidelines
13. To promote and sell any product line made available by the company
14. To resolve customer complaints in accordance of company policies

Basic Knowledge Requirements: Computer literate, at least 30 wpm, enthusiastic, ability to multitask, detail oriented, responsible, solid decision making skills and person friendly. Bilingual individual a PLUS.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year Customer Service , or 1 year Medical Clerical. Medical insurance billing experience is a HUGE PLUS and will be moved to the front of the line for interviews!!!!
Lifting Requirements: 10 lbs. frequently and up to 35 lbs. infrequently. Sitting for long periods of time as well as standing for hours at a time are physically required.
Starting Pay: Contingent on experience. Low to mid teens. Higher with DME or DME billing experience Annual review from the time of hire presents the opportunity for pay raises.** POSITION ALSO HAS COMMISION BASED ON CERTAIN RETAIL SOLD ITEMS.
Additional Pay, Commission: Commission is paid at 10% of profit on certain large-ticket sales. The monthly sales goal of the branch, as a whole, must be achieved in order to be eligible to receive commission.

Paid Time Off: (Eligible at 6 months) 145.6 hours accumulated per year based on actual annual hours-worked (3.64 workweeks per year). Encompasses Holiday, Vacation & sick. A&R is closed on Christmas Day, New Years Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day & Thanksgiving.
Retirement: (Eligible at 1 year) 401K through ADP payroll services. A&R matches up to 2% based on your salary & contribution.
