What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA position at A RAY OF SUNSHINE HOME CARE LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, some incontinence care. Assist with medication reminders
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship to clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
- Previous experience as a caregiver preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
- Ability to pass a background check MUST BE WILLING TO WORK EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
