Director of ABA (DO ABA) /Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of ABA is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the clinic. The DO ABA will work under the supervision of the owners. The DO ABA will be responsible for developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans. The DO ABA will also provide supervision to Behavior Technicians (BT) providing ABA therapy. The DO ABA will also be responsible for family interactions in regards to care and day to day obligations. The DO ABA will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the center under the direction of the owners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily operations of the clinic, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Manage and supervise the clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure the clinic meets regulatory standards and adheres to ethical guidelines in the provision of ABA therapy
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans
Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners
Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans for clients
Collaborate with other professionals such as therapists, educators, and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
Maintain documentation of all services provided in the ABA program according to agency standards
Liaise with other professionals involved in the care of individuals on assigned caseloads within the outpatient ABA program
Attendance at program staff meetings as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Maintenance of an acceptable CORI
Maintain flexibility with weekly scheduled hours to accommodate the program
Commitment to the philosophy of community inclusion and person-centered thinking
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Valid Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
5 years experience working with children with Autism.
Demonstrated history of quality work performance and teamwork in previous positions
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments/Analyses as assigned
- Conduct curricular assessments as assigned
- Develop Behavior Intervention Plans for clients in a timely and efficient manner
- Train caregivers and staff on the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans using competency based training documentation
- Graph, analyze, and interpret data on the occurrence of target behaviors and replacement behaviors
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual summaries/reports/updates within the requirements of funding source
- Complete detailed documenting how services were delivered
- Maintain certification by obtaining necessary continuing education credits (CEUs) as specified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA)
- Train, model, and provide feedback on the implementation of the behavior plan to caregivers and BTs
- Assess clients’ needs for therapy and provide ongoing treatment
- Interact with families in regards to care of client
- Manage BTs on all competencies for providing treatment, professionalism, and overall job performance
- Provide HR responsibilities on misconduct or disciplinary actions for BTs, BCBAs, and Clinical Directors
- Responsible for adhering and managing all KPI’s and productivity requirements of the center
- Oversee Clinical Director and responsibilities that fall under that scope

Productivity Requirements: 15-25% of billable hours. Equivalent to 5-10 hours for a 40 hour work week.
