Senior Associate Director

SUMMARY : As the Senior Director of Education and Vocational Training, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission by leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational and vocational programs. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Programs you will serve as a key leader, driving initiatives that empower individuals to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for sustainable employment and personal growth.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for programs aligned with the organization's mission and goals.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate Programs into broader organizational strategies.
• Oversee the design, development, and delivery of all Programs educational ensuring alignment with industry standards and participant needs
• Implement best practices in adult education, workforce development, and vocational training
• Cultivate and maintain partnerships with COC, IDOC, providers, and community stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness
• Provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of Programs
• Ensures that all employees meet all grant requirements by providing customized training or professional development opportunities.
• Assists in managing, training staff, and reviewing production for newly implemented programs.
• Develops and reviews diversified curriculum.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, emphasizing continuous learning and professional development.
• Establish metrics and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact and success of education and vocational training programs.
• Prepare regular reports for leadership and funders, highlighting program achievements and areas for improvement.
• Implements evidence-based programming and services based on the needs of the attendees; conduct analysis of program effectiveness.
• Completes and reviews funders' reports for each department program
