GDI Security Services is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Security Officers at our Nemak Facility in Sheboygan, WI. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our client’s facility, employees, and visitors.
Schedule Availability:
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday, 3rd Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Some weekends to be worked as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including but not limited to:
- Shift Duty/Activity Log
- Incident Reporting/Investigation
- Central Telephone Answering
- Shipping and Receiving
- Security Operation Post Orders
- Issue Reporting & Tracking System
- Incident Command & Control
- Emergency Medical Response
- Evacuation Plan
- HAZMAT Response
- Fire System Impairment
- Severe Weather
- Post Incident Critique/Investigation
- Fire Watch Requirements
- Standardized Training Curriculum Policy
- Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, contractors, and all vehicles coming onto the site.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and report any suspicious activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting employees and visitors.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive company background check and drug test.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Previous security experience is a plus but not required.
