Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership : Drive the revenue generation for the sales team by overseeing and guiding the entire sales cycle—working with IT directors and larger, more complex accounts.
- Team Management : Supervise a team of 4 people, including 2 salespeople and 2 account managers. Responsible for developing team members, providing coaching, and ensuring they meet sales and performance targets.
- Revenue Generation : Focus on generating business first and foremost, while effectively managing the sales team to ensure they’re meeting their targets and contributing to overall growth.
- Sales Strategy : Implement and refine sales strategies with the team to hit company revenue goals and ensure a sustainable growth path.
- Performance Monitoring : Keep accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and results within the CRM, and report on overall sales performance as needed.
- People Management : While people management is important, the key responsibility remains generating new business and driving revenue.
