Utilizing the highest quality, state-of-the-art equipment and scheduling technology, we offer multiple specialties under one roof including general dentistry, sedation dentistry and oral surgery. Additionally, we provide services to both pediatric and adult populations and are dedicated to providing a positive and memorable patient experience for all ages.

Responsibilities :

As a Dental Hygienist at A Smile 4U, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists in providing outstanding dental care. Your responsibilities will include :

• Perform all dental hygiene procedures including by not limited to : routine treatment procedures such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and fluorides, and all related perio procedures.
• Support the dentist in developing and implementing individualized dental hygiene procedures for all patients and delivering the patient's education plan.
• Complete accurate charting of patients : perio charting and pre-existing.
• Work under the supervision of dentist in delivering the patient's education plan.
• Assist dentists in the performance of special tests, procedures and complex operations related to patient's dental care.
• Any other dental duties and procedures as may be required by the clinic's dental director.
• Take accurate notes on the provided treatment and teach proper oral hygiene techniques to patients.
• Sort and package instruments by tray for proper sterilization, following all OSHA guidelines : act as OSHA coordinator.
• Securely store and handle patient charts in compliance with legal requirements, including the HIPAA privacy and security regulations if applicable.
• Complete weekly autoclave testing & monthly supply orders.
• Assist in the administration of the recall system : schedule patients recall appointments.
