The Product Engineer focuses on designing and developing new or existing products, components, or assemblies including :

• Supporting the local production site and be the connection between production site and product development and vice versa in product / design related questions / issues.
• Establishing mock-up / pilots / test assemblies and coordinate the product change implementation on site.
• Coordinating process and product changes between mother plant and receiving plant.
• Applying engineering principles to develop products that meet customer technical / functional specifications as well as manufacturing cost / efficiency requirements
• Conducting mathematical modelling to determine if proposed designs are technically feasible
• Supporting and participating in the design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes
• May also be involved with designing product specific manufacturing production processes and equipment.
• Lead level is a specialist in Product Engineering typically obtained through education and work experience.
