Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key leadership role, responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the organization. Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership :

Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
Lead the annual budgeting and planning process.
Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial reports.
Manage the company's cash flow, investments, and financing activities.
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Operational Excellence :
Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
Identify and mitigate financial risks.
Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function.
Oversee the selection and implementation of financial systems and technologies.
Strategic Partnership :
Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives, providing financial guidance and support.
Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and other business development opportunities.
Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors.
Team Leadership :
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Active CPA license is required.
Native or near-native fluency in Japanese.
Strong understanding of US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
