Residential Plumbing Helper

The Residential Plumbing Helper assists licensed plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in residential homes. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn the plumbing trade and grow within the company through on-the-job experience and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and repair of residential plumbing systems, including water lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites
• Prepare work areas and clean up debris after job completion
• Hand tools and materials to the plumber during installations and repairs
• Perform basic tasks such as cutting pipe, drilling holes, and measuring materials
• Follow instructions and safety protocols to ensure job site safety
• Keep service vehicle and tools clean and organized
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3-4 years of residential plumbing experience
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., work in confined spaces, and perform labor-intensive tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
