**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing clinic. As a key member of our therapy team, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality care to children with diverse needs. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our young patients through your expertise and dedication.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in treating pediatric patients, following the plan of care as determined by a licensed PT.
- Implement therapy plans designed to improve motor skills, strength, range of motion, and mobility in children.
- Work one-on-one with patients and their family members to provide individualized care and attention.
- Educate and train parents and caregivers on exercises and activities to support therapy goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient daily notes, records and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary therapy team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Stay current with the latest developments in pediatric physical therapy through continuous learning, CEUs, and professional development.
**Qualifications:**
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- State licensure or certification as a Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion and patience when working with children.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in pediatric physical therapy is a plus, but not required.
