Local Residential repair and remodeling company in Athens, Texas is now hiring a experienced Painter!
This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, where you will apply your expertise in color theory and painting techniques to achieve exceptional results.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint using various methods including brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
- Execute trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of painted areas.
- Perform caulking to seal gaps and ensure a smooth finish.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets industry standards.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience with painting, utilizing paint sprayer, roller, and brush
- Proven experience in construction painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in color theory to select appropriate colors for various applications.
- Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques is preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Experience with remodeling projects is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Clean background
- Driver's License required
- Smoking/Vaping while on the job is prohibited
