A Taste of Excellence Catering is Northeast Ohio's premiere catering company- servicing client's corporate and special events, weddings, company picnics, holiday parties and more.
A Taste of Excellence is seeking Banquet Chefs with a food service background to help prepare for and execute offsite catering events. You will prepare high-quality products in a fast-paced environment using a variety of ingredients. Catering events are generally on the weekends, so weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen
- Proper food handling & food safety knowledge
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to multi-task
- A positive attitude
- Work well in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Morning, evening, and weekend availability
- A culinary degree is preferred, but not required

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
