What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at A Taste of Excellence?
A Taste of Excellence and Blue Heron Brewery are seeking outgoing bartenders that are passionate about customer service! This position will be a dayshift based on a prominent golf course in Medina.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the timely set-up and take-down of bar, contributing to overall cleanliness and organization of facility and event location
- Prepares alcoholic, non-alcoholic, and other beverages for guests
- Prepares all condiments to garnish drink orders
- Checks and maintains stock of glassware, beverages and bar supplies and communicates shortages and needs to the manager in charge
- Responsible for having full knowledge of beverage menus offered
- Communicates any areas of need, problems or concerns to management
- Follows policies, procedures, and service standards
Qualifications:
- Previous bar tending experience required- must have knowledge and ability to prepare common mixed drinks
- Must have basic wine and beer knowledge and be able to make suggestions based on guest preferences
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be willing to follow directions and abide by the decisions of supervisors
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs
- Some flexibility with schedule, this will be majority day shift (weekdays and weekends) but will require some evenings as needed
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
