Job Summary
A Taste of Excellence/Elegant Ensembles is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Representative to coordinate our internal linen sales and assist in growing outside accounts. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to foster collaboration within the team. As an account representative, you will be responsible for developing managing customer relationships, creating orders, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee internal linen sales, ensuring seamless coordination with A Taste of Excellence events
- Work with internal sales managers to confirm linen needs, verify quantities, and manage and input orders correctly
- Monitor accounts receivables (billing) and ensure all payments are processed in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of linen sales, inventory usage, and customer preferences
- Maintain and develop relationships with external clients to drive new linen sales
- Identify and secure new external linen account opportunities
- Provide expert guidance to clients on linen selections based on event styles, themes, and budgets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging linen styles
- Monitor inventory levels, possibly coordinating with outside suppliers for rental and purchasing needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferable within the hospitality, catering, or event planning industries
- Exceptional relationship building skills
- Excellent organization and multi tasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory management and sales tracking software
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of linen materials, styles, and event aesthetics preferred
