Welcome to Rejuv- a new fast, casual restaurant coming to downtown Cleveland this spring! We are focused on providing health centered food and drinks while creating an exceptional experience for our clients.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Counter Associate and Smoothie Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious smoothies, running prepared food to guests, manning the cash register, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional service while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace.
Responsibilities
- Take food, smoothie, and coffee orders. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Prepare and blend smoothies according to established recipes while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Run completed food to correct tables while providing an exceptional experience for customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter and work area, including cleaning equipment and restocking displays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and promote menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when reordering is necessary.
- Uphold company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Knowledge of Toast or other POS system a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Basic food preparation skills, including knowledge of food handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
