Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Fire Alarm and Security Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various tools and equipment, as well as a strong understanding of low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Fire Alarm. systems including structured cabling for data and voice communications.
  • Utilize hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper installation and functionality of systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on low voltage equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose issues.
  • Document all work performed, including system configurations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in various environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in low voltage installations or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other hand tools necessary for installation and troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
